Welcome to Roots to Roots. This Private Member Agreement ("Agreement" or "PMA" or "PMC") is a friendly, mutual understanding between Roots to Roots (the "Private Membership Association," "PMA," "we," "us," or "our") and you, our valued Member ("Member," "you," or "your").

By joining Roots to Roots, creating an account, or participating in any member-only features, you agree to the terms below, which are designed to protect our
private community and nurture meaningful family connections.

OUR PRIVATE COMMUNITY

1.1 Private Membership Association. Roots to Roots is a private, members-only community created to
celebrate family, heritage, traditions, and intergenerational connections. Access to our website, content, tools, forums, groups, contests, and features is available only to Members in good standing.

1.2 Not a Public Platform. Roots to Roots is a Private Platform. Only community members are able to invite their family and friends to join. All shared stories, photos, recipes, discussions, services, and resources exist within a private membership relationship.

1.3 Membership Discretion. We reserve the right to accept, decline, suspend, or terminate memberships
at our discretion in order to protect the integrity, safety, and values of our community.


2. MEMBERSHIP ENROLLMENT & ELIGIBILITY

2.1 Voluntary Membership. Membership in Roots to Roots is voluntary and may be canceled by you at any
time in accordance with our Terms of Service.

2.2 Age Requirement. You confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have legal consent to participate.

2.3 Accurate Information. You agree to provide honest, current, and complete information when creating
your account and to keep it updated.

3. PURPOSE OF ROOTS TO ROOTS

Roots to Roots exists to strengthen family bonds and preserve shared legacy across generations. Our
community is designed to be family-friendly and welcoming to multiple generations, allowing
grandparents, parents, children, and extended family to participate in meaningful ways.


As a Member, you may:
Share family stories, memories, traditions, and life experiences


Preserve recipes, photos, and meaningful moments


Celebrate heritage, lifestyles, and family roots


Connect generations through storytelling and shared history


Create or join groups and participate in forums


Enter contests and community activities appropriate for all ages


Create a business page to showcase handmade goods or useful services offered to other Members.


All participation is intended to foster respect, safety, connection, and shared legacy.


4. MEMBER ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

By joining Roots to Roots, you acknowledge that:
You are voluntarily entering a private, member-based community.


Content shared by Members reflects personal experiences and opinions.


Roots to Roots does not provide professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.


You are responsible for how you use, interpret, or act on any content shared within the community.

5. MEMBER CONDUCT & COMMUNITY VALUES

5.1 Respect & Kindness. Members agree to interact with kindness, respect, and good faith, honoring the
family-centered spirit of Roots to Roots.

5.2 Prohibited Behavior. Members may not: - Share private member content outside the community - Post
unlawful, abusive, hateful, misleading, or inappropriate material - Harass, impersonate, or exploit other
Members - Use the platform in ways that harm families, individuals, or the community

5.3 Community Guidelines. Members agree to follow all posted community rules, contest rules, and
participation guidelines.

6. USER CONTENT & SHARING

6.1 Your Content. You retain ownership of the stories, photos, recipes, and materials you share.

6.2 License to Use. By posting content, you grant Roots to Roots a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to
display, host, and share your content within the private community and in accordance with our Terms of
Service and Privacy Policy.

6.3 Responsibility. You confirm you have the right to share any content you post and that it does not
violate the rights or privacy of others.

7. BUSINESS PAGES & MEMBER SERVICES

Roots to Roots warmly welcomes Members who wish to share handmade items, family-inspired goods, or
useful services with our community. To keep our space safe, respectful, and family-friendly, the following
Business Page Rules apply.

7.1 Member-Run Pages
Business pages are created and managed by individual Members. Roots to Roots does not own, operate,
endorse, or guarantee any Member business, product, or service.

7.2 Family-Friendly Standards
All business pages must be appropriate for a multi-generational audience. Content may not include: - Adult, explicit, or offensive material - Hateful, discriminatory, or harmful language - Misleading, deceptive, or exaggerated claims
We reserve the right to remove content that does not align with our family-centered values.

7.3 Honest Representation
Members agree to: - Accurately describe their products or services - Clearly disclose pricing, availability, and
fulfillment expectations - Represent their business truthfully and in good faith

7.4 Independent Transactions
All transactions, communications, and agreements occur directly between Members. Roots to Roots is not
responsible for: - Payments, refunds, or disputes - Product quality, delivery, or service outcomes - Taxes,
licenses, permits, or regulatory compliance

7.5 No Medical, Legal, or Financial Services
Business pages may not offer or imply professional medical, legal, or financial advice or services.

7.6 Respectful Promotion
Promotion should feel neighborly, not pushy. Members may not: - Spam messages, forums, or groups 
Pressure other Members to purchase - Use automated or deceptive marketing practices

7.7 Safety & Trust
Members are encouraged to use their own judgment when engaging with business pages. Roots to Roots
may remove or restrict business pages that generate repeated complaints or pose a risk to the community.

7.8 Right to Remove or Restrict
To protect our Members, Roots to Roots may edit, suspend, or remove any business page at its discretion,
with or without notice

8. CONTESTS, GROUPS & FORUMS

8.1 Participation. Members may join contests, groups, and forums subject to specific rules and guidelines.

8.2 Fair Use. Entries must be original and appropriate for a family-focused audience.

8.3 Community Spirit. Participation should reflect fairness, honesty, and respect.

9. PRIVACY & CONFIDENTIALITY

9.1 Private Environment. Content and communications within Roots to Roots are intended for Members
only.

9.2 Respect for Privacy. Members agree not to share or distribute private community content outside the
platform.

9.3 Privacy Policy. Personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated
into this Agreement.

10. FEES, PAYMENTS & REFUNDS

10.1 Low-Cost Membership. Roots to Roots is intentionally priced at a very low cost to keep our community
accessible to families and multiple generations.

10.2 No Refund Policy. Because membership fees are minimal and primarily support the operation and
care of the platform, all fees are non-refundable for any reason, including partial use, non-use, or account termination.

10.3 Access, Not Outcomes. Membership fees provide access to the private community and its features.
Specific results, connections, or outcomes are not guaranteed.

11. DISCLAIMERS & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

11.1 As-Is Access. Roots to Roots is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.

11.2 Personal Responsibility. You participate at your own discretion and risk.

11.3 Limitation of Liability. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Roots to Roots is not liable for damages
arising from your participation or use of the platform.

12. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Roots to Roots, its owners, administrators, and partners from
claims arising from your use of the platform or violation of this Agreement.

13. TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP

13.1 By You. You may end your membership at any time under our Terms of Service.

13.2 By Us. We may suspend or terminate membership to protect the community or enforce this
Agreement.

13.3 Effect of Termination. Access to member-only features ends upon termination.

14. GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of the union Florida.

15. CHANGES TO THIS AGREEMENT

We may update this PMA from time to time. Continued participation means you accept the updated terms.

16. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This PMA, together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, represents the full agreement between you and Roots to Roots.

17. ACCEPTANCE

By clicking "I Agree," creating an account, or participating in Roots to Roots, you confirm that you
understand and accept this Private Member Agreement.

Contest Rules and Regulations

OFFICIAL RULES – ROOTS TO ROOTS MONTHLY
CREATIVE CONTESTS
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

1. Sponsor
These contests are sponsored by Roots to Roots ("Sponsor"). Sponsor is solely responsible for the
administration of all contests hosted on the Roots to Roots website.

2. Eligibility
Roots to Roots Monthly Creative Contests ("Contest") are open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United
States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Employees, contractors, officers, directors, and immediate family members of Sponsor are not eligible.
Void where prohibited by law.

3. Contest Period
Each Contest runs on a monthly basis. Specific start dates, end dates, submission deadlines, voting
periods, and judging dates will be posted on the applicable Contest page.
Sponsor’s computer is the official timekeeping device.

4. How to Enter
During each Contest Period, eligible members may submit one (1) original entry in the designated media
category for that month, which may include: - Written stories or essays - Photography - Video recordings 
Audio recordings
Entry requirements: - Entry must be original work created by the entrant - Entrant must own all rights to the
submission - Entry must not infringe upon any third-party rights - Entry must comply with posted content
guidelines and community standards
Limit one (1) entry per person per Contest Period, regardless of membership tier.

No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. Membership level does not affect
judging or prize value.

5. Community Voting Phase (Finalist Selection)
After the submission period closes, a community voting phase will open.
Voting rules: - Voting is open to registered Roots to Roots members - One (1) vote per member per entry 
Votes are used only to determine finalists
The top ten (10) entries receiving the highest number of valid votes will advance to the judging phase.
Sponsor reserves the right to monitor, audit, and remove fraudulent, automated, or manipulated votes.

6. Judging Phase (Winner Selection)
Finalist entries will be reviewed by a judging panel selected by Sponsor.
Entries will be judged using the following criteria: - Originality and Creativity – 40% - Quality and
Craftsmanship – 30% - Relevance to Theme and Emotional Impact – 30%
The entry with the highest combined score will be declared the winner. In the event of a tie, judges will re
evaluate tied entries based on originality.
Judges’ decisions are final and binding.

7. Prize
One (1) winner will be selected each month.
Prizes may include: - Roots to Roots branded merchandise (including apparel) - Gift cards - Curated prize
bundles - Other prizes of comparable value
Approximate Retail Value (ARV): Not to exceed $5,000.00 USD per Contest.
No substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent permitted except at Sponsor’s discretion. Winner is responsible
for all applicable taxes.

8. Winner Notification
Potential winners will be notified via email and/or website notification within seven (7) days following
completion of judging.
Failure to respond within seven (7) days may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.

9. Rights Granted by Entrants
By submitting an entry, entrants grant Sponsor a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use,
reproduce, display, publish, perform, and promote the entry in connection with: - The Contest - Roots to
Roots website - Marketing, promotional, and editorial activities
Entrants retain ownership of their submissions.

10. Privacy
Information collected is subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.

11. General Conditions
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify a Contest if fraud, technical failure, or other
factors impair integrity.
Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or corrupted entries.

12. Limitation of Liability
By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor from any liability arising from
participation or prize acceptance.

13. Governing Law
All Contests are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Florida, without regard to
conflict of law principles.

Prizes vary by month and may include merchandise, gift cards, or curated prizes with an ARV up to $5,000.
Will my entry be shared publicly?
Yes. By entering, you allow Roots to Roots to display and promote your entry.
